The Plaza Hotel & Casino opened the new magic show “Avant Garde,” a collection of “music, mirth, magic and mayhem” in the historic 600-seat showroom on Tuesday, February 14.
The show, created specifically for Las Vegas, is directed by Juliana Chen, the only woman to win the World Championship of Magic in the last 50 years and produced by Jon Fondy, who has produced more than 600 television shows and more than 400 live shows. The show’s name is intended to reflect its modern and innovative collection of creative acts and will run six nights a week.
“The show mesmerizes the audience through its music, performances, video, graphics and imagery,” says Fondy.
From a hip-hop violinist, thrilling special effects, to world champion magicians, “Avant Garde” cast members hail from around the world, including China, Belgium, Spain, France, and the United States. The rotating stars of “Avant Garde” include:
