Diane Palm has been promoted to company manager of Donn Arden’s Jubilee!, previously holding the position of assistant company manager. She replaces longtime Company Manager Fluff LeCoque. Suzanne Swanson has been appointed assistant company manager. In their new roles, Palm and Swanson will oversee the show’s 85 male and female cast members, spearhead all production efforts and serve as the main contacts for all marketing opportunities.

“Diane is an integral part of Jubilee! and knows every valuable facet related to the production,” said David Hoenemeyer, regional president of Bally’s Las Vegas. “She is recognized as a true leader by the cast, crew and her peers for her attention to detail, professionalism, effective communication and true knowledge of the show and its history. We are excited to have both her and Suzanne leading the efforts for this fantastic, long-running show.”

Palm joined Jubilee! when the show first opened in 1981 as one of the original dance captains. In the more than 30 years she has been with the show, she has performed nearly every role, including teaching choreography, traveling the nation scouting new dancers at annual auditions and choreographing numbers.

Swanson started in the show in 2003 as a showgirl and was promoted to captain after two years. Prior to joining Jubilee!, Swanson danced with various ballet companies including Louisville Ballet, San Diego Ballet and St. Louis Ballet.

THANK YOU FLUFF LeCOQUE

Ffolliott (Fluff) LeCoque., Company Manager for Donn Arden’s “JUBILEE” at Bally’s Hotel, has been with the show since it’s inception in 1981. She was also the Company Manager for “HALLELUJAH HOLLYWOOD”, Mr. Arden’s previous show, on the same property, then known as The MGM Grand Hotel which opened in 1973.

"After more than 30 years with Jubilee!, Fluff LeCoque has decided to retire from the show to spend time with her family in the Seattle area, " says a PR spokesperson for Caesars Entertainment. "Bally's Las Vegas is eternally grateful to Fluff and her incomparable contributions to Jubilee!, as well as the entertainment landscape of Las Vegas. The show wouldn't be what it is today without her unending leadership and dedication."

LeCoque has an extensive background in dance, trained in all fields, except “hip hop”. She was the protégé of Caird Leslie, partner to Anna Pavlova and is a graduate of The School of Drama at the University of Washington, Seattle. There is a brick paver bearing her name in the courtyard of the recently restored Penthouse Theatre in the round on the University of Washington campus and a bronze plaque inscribed with her name, has been placed center, at the edge of the JUBILEE stage. She is in the historical archives of the University of Nevada regarding her contribution to the history of show business in Las Vegas and appears in many books regarding this history. Fluff was associated with producer Donn Arden for over forty years, either as principal dancer, ballet mistress, and choreographer or company manger. She has worked with a multitude of stars some of which were: Danny Kaye, Maurice Chevalier, Helen Traubel, Katherine Grayson, Nat King Cole, Andy Williams, Sammy Davis Jr., Sophie Tucker, Jimmy Durante and Red Skelton to name a few.

In addition to her role managing the stage spectacular, she has also appeared in the movie “ Casino”, directed by Martin Scorsese and been interviewed and seen on television on the History channel, Discovery channel, 48 Hours, Casino Diaries, “E” Nearly Famous, and others.

LeCoque says that life is exciting in a large show like “JUBILEE” as there are constant changes in every show – sickness, accidents, emergencies, technical problems, personality conflicts, all continuous challenges and sometimes lots of fun.  She is grateful to Donn Arden and to the management of Bally’s Hotel for her wonderful job.  Her words of advice: KEEP DANCIN’.
