La Cage moves from Downtown back to Strip at Riviera Hotel
Female impersonator show La Cage is heading back to the Riviera Hotel & Casino, opening Wednesday, Feb. 29 in the Crazy Girls Showroom.
Longtime producer and director of the show, Norbert Aleman, says, “I am so excited and proud to be opening La Cage back at the Riviera. The cast is just incredible, you won’t believe your eyes or the authenticity of the talent, and La Cage is, of course, “the original” and one of the longest-running shows on the Strip for 27 years strong. It’s a must-see!”
La Cage star Jimmy Emerson has performed as the comedy lead and alternate host of the show for more than 27 years, returns to the show after an extended tour of Europe. Emerson heads the cast as the show’s emcee, impersonating the outrageous trailer-trash bimbo, Tammy Spraynette. The show includes impersonations of celebrities Britney Spears, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Reba McEntire, and Bette Midler.
La Cage's most recent run was at the Four Queens hotel in downtown Las Vegas.
