After a successful run at the Laugh Factory at the Tropicana Hotel, magician Murray Sawchuck has found a new how at Planet Hollywood, just down the famed Las Vegas Strip.  Scheduled for a December 10th opening at the Sin City Comedy Theater on the mezzanine level, Sawchuck plans a show with new effects and tie-ins to his television appearances.

Fans of the show will be pleased to hear that his assistant Chloe Crawford and sidekick “Lefty” will continue to be featured in the new production. His appearances on History Channel’s Pawn Stars and SYFY’s “Wizard Wars” will serve as inspiration for some new effects in the show.

The move to Sin City Comedy Theater gives him an attainable number of seats a night (approximately 300) in a competitive environment like Las Vegas.

“My show really had a nice flow in a comedy club here in Las Vegas versus the big 2,500 seat venues when you tour on the road,” states Sawchuck. “When you hit a town or city once a year, it’s easy to fill a 2,500-seat theatre, but when you work 6 days a week in Las Vegas, it isn’t that easy.”

SawChuck has entered into a one-year partnership agreement with the owner of Sincity Comedy John Padon and General Manager Pete Housley. After looking at various hotel and venue options in Las Vegas, Sawchuck was shown this venue by Caesars executives, which led to this two-wall deal as the best option for moving forward.

As for the new show, the Murray Sawchuck brand will continue to showcase his quirky, witty, magical, messy-blonde hair style… and that’s what audiences love about him. His appeal to audiences of all ages gives a great magical option for visitors to Las Vegas. He plans to begin his show with more cutting-edge mind blowing magic and end with signature comedy magic.

Murray continues, “I am thrilled to be apart of the Caesars Entertainment family along with Planet Hollywood and the Sincity Comedy brand. It’s a definite step up for me and I have always loved the Caesars’ brand.”
