Starting June 22nd, EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL will be taking up residency at The Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. Sirc Michaels Productions is presenting the show at The V Theater, located in the Miracle Mile Mall. The show will run Friday and Saturday nights. As of press time, the Producers say that times, ticket prices, cast list, and other details will be announced shortly.
"This is a giant leap for a show originally produced at the local community level," says Sirc Michaels, the show's director and producer. "It has gone from being a small local production to a show on the strip. I'm not sure if that's happened before, but it's pretty amazing to be a part of it."
Many of the cast and crew members from last October's run are scheduled to return with this production. Ben Stobber will be returning to reprise his role of Ash, and the show will be directed once again by Sirc Michaels. This updated production will include effects, sets, choreography, makeup, and other elements that were not possible in its past incarnation.
