CSN Performing Arts Center Presents “Vegas Vaudeville" Performed by “The Lion King” Cast; Proceeds to Benefit Center

Actors, singers, dancers, and musicians of Disney’s Las Vegas production of “The Lion King“ will perform “Vegas Vaudeville: Songsters, Hoofers and First-Class Stage Actors” on September 16 at the Nicholas J. Horn Theatre on CSN’s Cheyenne Campus.
All proceeds benefit the College of Southern Nevada’s Performing Arts Center to enhance programming and provide access to underserved populations in the community.

“This troupe of players from ‘The Lion King’ pays homage to turn-of-the century classic vaudeville,” says Tim Bennett, resident director of “The Lion King” in Las Vegas and creator/director of Vegas Vaudeville. “Vegas Vaudeville will feature songs, dances, and sketches in the genuine vaudeville style. It will also include contemporary acts designed to amaze, amuse, and titillate today’s audience just as the original ‘turns’ did in their day, all in a family-friendly format.”
