Remembering Red - A Tribute to Red Skelton has opened as a permanent show at the Westin Casuarina Hotel and Casino. The tribute show is helmed by Brian Hoffman, and is a nostalgic trip down memory lane with Brian performing the jokes and routines that made Red famous.
The show includes several characters that Red Skelton created and performed in his variety show including those two seagulls, Gertrude and Heathcliffe, the dim-witted country bumpkin, Clem Kadiddlehopper and everyone's favorite hobo who lived in the city dump, Freddy the Freeloader.
Additionally, the show includes a couple of pantomimes, a taste of "Guzzlers Gin" plus the Pledge of Allegiance. This is a family friendly, ALL AGES welcome show and runs Mondays and Tuesdays at 2pm.
