The Lion King at Mandalay Bay Celebrates 2nd Anniversary on The Strip; Jersey Boys at Palazzo Celebrates 3 Years


Disney’s THE LION KING at Mandalay Bay celebrated its second anniversary on May 15, and since the show’s debut in 2009, has entertained nearly one million locals and tourists.

Following the Sunday evening anniversary performance, the show’s cast and crew gathered to celebrate the occasion with champagne and a LION KING cake standing four feet tall and weighing 75 pounds in a portrayal of Simba’s mask and body.

Jersey Boys at Palazzo Celebrates 3 Years



JERSEY BOYS celebrated its third anniversary on Thursday, May 12 in front of a full house at The Jersey Boys Theatre at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino. In honor of the milestone, a one-of-a-kind JERSEY BOYS cake was presented on stage to the talented cast and crew by Vegas showgirls.
