Las Vegas magician and pyro-act, Antonio Restivo, set a new fire-breathing Guiness World Record this week.
In a rented warehouse (required for ceiling height and safety), Restivo broke the previous record of 23 feet, 7 inches. His flame reached the ceiling of the warehouse, putting the new record at 26 feet, 5 inches. The previous record was held by Australian Tim Black. Restivo is the first American to hold this record, and he did so with family, friends, and colleagues in attendance.
Restivo regularly performs in the Excalibur Hotel’s Tournament of Kings and also staged his own show “Ignite” recently at the Clarion Hotel. You may recognize him from his various appearances on the NBC talent show “America’s Got Talent.”
