Legendary singer-songwriter Barry Manilow’s non-profit organization, the Manilow Music Project, put more than $500,000 worth of musical instruments into the hands of 15 Clark County School District middle schools and high schools during a ceremony on Thursday, October 7 at Valley High School.
Reinvigorating the school system’s music program at a critical time of need; this is the single largest donation of its kind in Clark County history for a music program.
Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman was also on hand as the five semi-trucks left directly from the event to drop the brand new instruments at schools across Clark County.
Manilow is currently performing more than 78 shows a year for two years at the Paris Théâtre at Paris Las Vegas.
