Comedian George Wallace will have lots of "time to be thinkin'" as he announced he will be ending his run of his “Best 10 PM” show in Las Vegas on April 26. He recently marked his 10-year anniversary at Flamingo Las Vegas last month.
Wallace says he will continue to reside in Las Vegas. “I will live here and forever call it home after these 10 years on the Strip,” explains Wallace. “It is a great city and one I have come to love and feel a real part of.”
“Flamingo Las Vegas is proud to have served as home to George for the past 10 years,” said Eileen Moore, regional president of Flamingo Las Vegas. “He has been such an important member of our family, and we will miss him very much. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
Wallace expects to do a little bit of everything while moving on from the 10-year run at Flamingo Las Vegas. “I may tour the world, the US, do some radio and television and continue to make people laugh and enjoy my life. I am blessed and we will see what lies in store for me. I am sure it will be fun and funny, meaningful and entertaining, and full of love and goodness.”
He continues, “I am grateful and appreciative for the opportunity Flamingo Las Vegas has given me over the last decade. It has been an amazing run.”
Wallace's show was repeatedly extended after originally signing on for a 30-day run. His final show will be April 26 with one remaining week after he returns from a Pentagon assignment entertaining overseas troops.
