On Friday, April 5 the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce welcomed Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino headliners Penn & Teller who were honored with the 2,494^th star on the famed Walk of Fame. Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Leron Gubler, as well as guest speakers David Copperfield, Trey Parker and Matt Stone were on hand to help the duo unveil their star.

“We selected the perfect spot for the star,” stated Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer. “It will be unveiled at 7003 Hollywood Boulevard just steps away from the star of legendary Houdini and right down the street from the historic The Magic Castle."

The Magic Castle, which is celebrating its 50^th Anniversary this year, honored Penn & Teller the following day with the coveted "Magicians of the Year" Award.

Since the late 1970's, Penn & Teller have defied labels by redefining the genre of magic and inventing their own distinct niche in comedy. Credits include sold-out runs on Broadway, world tours, Emmy-winning TV specials, and hundreds of outrageous appearances on everything from Letterman to Leno, Friends to The Simpsons, Chelsea Lately to Top Chef.
