A trio of female singers from major Las Vegas production shows will showcase their new vocal group, “BBR” (Blonde, Brunette, and Redhead) on April 2 at the Boulevard Theater on the Las Vegas Strip.
BBR features Anne Martinez (the “blonde”), lead singer in “Bite”, Savannah Smith (the “brunette), principle swing singer in “Vegas! The Show”, and Tara Palsha (the “redhead”), star and lead dancer of “Vegas! The Show”. The ladies harmonize and sing solos, and share are backed by a live band.
“It’s vintage with a modern twist,” says Martinez, who recently relocated from New York to Las Vegas. “We mix pop, soul, and cabaret music, all with tight harmonies. Each girl has solo time to share her personal talents. Our live band boosts excitement and musical richness.”
The show is directed by Tim Bennett, current director for Nevada Conservatory Theatre’s “Urinetown” and former resident director of Disney’s THE LION KING at Mandalay Bay Hotel. Jimmy Lockett is the musical director.
