4th Annual Vegas CineFest Opens October at Palms Casino


On October 3rd, The 4th annual Vegas CineFest (“VCF”) International Film Festival will kick off another year celebrating the arts in film and music. The festival will run between October 3rd through October 7th and will be held at Palms Casino Resort, with a red carpet Gala held on the evening of October 6th.

This year, the festival will screen more than 145 films from around the world and will feature panels designed to educate independent filmmakers. In conjunction with the Festival, the Digital CineMart will be featured with opportunities for filmmakers to sell to distributors and film brokers.

Among notable attendees, Barry Bostwick’s new film “FDR American Badass” will premiere during the festival. Barry & Producer/Writer Ross Patterson will be at the festival for Red Carpet & Q&A sessions. Actress Erin Gray and Actor Gary Graham screening “Dreams Awake”. Teller from “Penn & Teller” is attending & screening his new film “Play Dead”.

VCF will soon be announcing the 2012 “Lifetime Achievement in Filmmaking” award.  In 2011, VCF honored prolific director, John Landis (“Blues Brothers,” “Animal House”).
