`MJ Live!,"a tribute to Michael Jackson’s performing career, is scheduled to open July 2 in the Crown Theater at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
Michael Jackson impersonator Michael Firestone will be doing a live one-hour singing tribute in “MJ Live!” in the Crown Theater at Rio All-Suite with eight backup dancers at 5:30 pm daily.
“I love Michael Jackson and he was a big influence on me in my life. I’m still sad over his death," says Firestone. "I almost quit I was so taken back."
Firestone says the show will include all the classics including "Billie Jean," "Human Nature," Beat It," and "Just Want to be Starting Something."
The 33-year old Firestone recently was a Dealertainer at the Imperial Palace, and toured onboard Star Cruises out of China.
Asked what songs he will be singing he said, “For sure I will be doing “Billie Jean,” “ Human Nature,” “Beat It” and “Just Want to be Starting Something.”
Firestone will be doing a meet-and-greet after each show.
