Former Mayor Oscar Goodman looks to primetime with a new entertainment venture -- his own reality TV series.

Fresh off his appearance in the network television series, “CSI: Las Vegas,” former mayor and Las Vegas icon, Oscar Goodman, is set to film the pilot for a new, Las Vegas-based courtroom show, “Vegas Night Court with Oscar Goodman.”

Complete with Las Vegas showgirls and a glass of gin, Goodman will begin filming “Vegas Night Court with Oscar Goodman” on Friday, November 18. The taping will be inside the Elvis Presley Showroom at the Las Vegas Hilton.

“I couldn’t be more excited to make my way back to the courtroom,” says former Las Vegas Mayor, Oscar Goodman. “There’s no city in the world like Las Vegas and there won’t be a show quite like ‘Vegas Night Court with Oscar Goodman.’”

The show will feature real court cases and a gallery filled with celebrities and Las Vegas notables.

“Vegas Night Court with Oscar Goodman” is produced by Wayne Jeffries, manager of History’s “Pawn Stars,” and five-time Emmy Award-winning Producer/Director, Jerry Kupcinet. Kupcinet's credits nclude “Judge Judy,” “Judge Joe Brown” and “Cristina's Court,” which won the first Emmy Award in the “Court Show” category.

Goodman is also the namesake for a new steakhouse, "Oscar's: Beef, Brews, and Broads," opening at the renovated Plaza Hotel in downtown Las Vegas.  The restaurant is located on the second floor of the hotel, with a sweeping view of Fremont Street below.  It will incorporate memorabilia from Goodman’s 12-year tenure as mayor and classic photographs of Las Vegas over the years.
