Performer Rick Faugno of Jersey Boys to Leave Show in October; Will Stay in Vegas with One Man Show 'Body & Soul' @LasVegasHilton
Rick Faugno, the original Las Vegas Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys,” is retiring from his five-year role at the Palazzo, but has decided to continue his performing career in Las Vegas. The actor, singer, dancer, and Broadway veteran moved to Las Vegas from New York City to join the original cast of “Jersey Boys” in 2006. His final performance is scheduled for October 9.
Faugno and his wife Joyce Chittick, also a Las Vegas performer, bought their Las Vegas home in December of 2010. “We knew we wanted to stay in town – even once I leave ‘Jersey Boys,’” says Faugno. “I knew I wanted to spread my wings and collaborate with some of the most amazing performers I’ve met, and create a one man show here. I wanted Las Vegas to be the place.”
Faugno performs every Monday in his one-man show “Body & Soul” at 8:30 p.m. in Shimmer Cabaret at the Las Vegas Hilton.
