Magician Jan Rouven opens new show "ILLUSIONS" at Clarion Hotel on July 1, 2011

Direct from Europe, Master Illusionist Jan Rouven brings a new show "ILLUSTIONS" to Las Vegas at the FAME Theater inside Clarion Hotel and Casino.

Rouven and his cast of five professionally trained dancers will include illusions such as the Bed of Death, Fire Spiker, Hand Stab (where a volunteer from the audience will play Russian roulette with a sharp knife,) and the Water Tank.

“A show in Las Vegas is the ultimate dream for most performers and after appearing at Fremont Street Experience for the past two years, I knew a permanent show had to be in the cards,” said Jan Rouven. “After touring Europe for many years, ILLUSIONS will allow me to reach a whole new audience and I am confident that my new show will be a crowd-pleasing production that will leave audiences in awe, and a little frightened.”

Rouven has been performing all over the world with his one-of-a-kind illusions, including his own longstanding show at Europe’s biggest revue-theatre, the legendary Royal Palace in Alsace, France. The show became known as “The Man With Nine Lives.”

The illusion show will open July 1 and runs Thursdays – Tuesdays (dark Wednesdays) at 7 p.m.
