Las Vegas close-up magician Steve Dacri lost his fight with colon cancer on Friday, February 11th. Dacri was well known for his close-up magic and was a regular performer in Las Vegas, including repeat performances at Caesars Magical Empire.
Most recently Dacri ventured off the Las Vegas Strip for an exclusive, and pricey (at $300), close-up magic show called, “Impossible Magic,” where he appeared in the fine dining restaurant Six Tables for a special 6 month engagement. The evening included a gourmet meal, prepared by world-renown master chef Roland Levi from Belgium. After the fine dining experience, Dacri presented a command performance of sleight of hand.
Dacri, 58, died in Las Vegas with his wife, Jan Dacri, at his side. He is survived by his son, Jesse R. Dacri and his mother, Frances E. Dacri.
Additionally, Steve was the author of the Vegas web publication VegasInsiderTips.com.
