
Lucha Las Vegas, an all-new variety show featuring Masked Mexican Wrestling, circus performers and super sexy referees will make its worldwide debut in Las Vegas at Crown Nightclub inside Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino on Jan. 7, 2011.
This will be the first non-arena production from Masked Republic in association with Xtreme Entertainment Group and Stone-Rock Entertainment. After it's premiere event on January 7, the show will return to Las Vegas regularly with brand new shows.
Each installment of Lucha Las Vegas will be headlined by guest stars from the biggest names in the Mexican wrestling world and the show's regular cast which includes former WWE Smackdown star SiNN "Kizarney" Bodhi, former WWE Divas Stacy "The Kat" Carter, Shelly "Ariel" Martinez, and former Smackdown and MTV's Wrestling Society X star Colt "Scotty Goldman" Cabana reprising his wildly popular WSX role as Matt Classic.
In the main event of the premiere show, lucha legend LA Park teams with third generation star and Viva La Lucha main-eventer Hijo De Rey Misterio to take on former NWA Worlds Champion and one of the biggest stars in Mexican wrestling history "La Leyenda Azul" Blue Demon Jr. and a mysterious luchador making his debut that night, El Apostol.
The show is created by pro wrestling and lucha libre veterans Kevin Kleinrock and Ruben Zamora whose Masked Republic company currently produces the ”Viva La Lucha” Pay Per View series. Also producing will be actor, writer and composer Stu Stone.
Crown Nightclub will be set up to seat approximately 700 audience members, providing an extremely intimate experience.
