"AMERICA'S SOUL MUSIC" starring Russell Thompkins Jr. and The New Stylistics opens Wednesday, Nov. 17 in the main showroom of The Clarion Hotel & Casino just off the Las Vegas Strip.
The band was the hottest bands of the early '70s still with the original singer Russell Thompkins Jr. (pictured right), famous for his falsetto voice. The show will perform Wednesday thru Sundays at 8 p.m. The Stylistics is one of the best-known Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s when they had 12 consecutive U.S. R&B top 10 hits.
They continue to tour Europe where they still perform and are quite popular.
