Disney’s THE LION KING welcomes to the Las Vegas company Derrick Williams as “Mufasa”. Williams made his Vegas debut on Monday, April 19. Produced by Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions, THE LION KING is currently playing at the Mandalay Bay Theatre.
Originally from Norfolk, Virginia, Williams is a singer, dancer and choreographer, and now joins THE LION KING following prestigious roles in the national tours of Wicked, Aida and Smokey Joe’s Café. Williams also played the rebellious Fiyero in Wicked on Broadway
