Emmy award-winning set designer Andy Walmsley brings the third in a series of showbiz roasts to the Stratosphere on October 3rd.  In the tradition of classic Las Vegas, local entertainers, personalities, journalists, and celebrities will join together in a late-night bash to roast one of their own.

In this third installment, Las Vegas legend Frank Marino sits in the hot seat and will be hazed and roasted by his colleagues in an outrageous comedic and musical event.  Currently the lineup of roasters includes Robin Leach ( Vegas Deluxe ), Louie Anderson ( Plaza ), Mark Shunock ( Rock of Ages Venetian ), Shayma Tash ( Chelsea Lately show ), Frankie Scinta ( The D ), Geechy Guy ( America’s got Talent ), and Murray Sawchuck ( Tropicana ).  Musical performances will include Skye Miles ( Tropicana ), Jeff Leibow, Travis Cloer, Deven May, Rob Marnell, Graham Fenton ( Jersey Boys ), Derrick Barry ( Divas ), Absinthe’s green fairy Melody Sweets ( Absinthe ), the cast and dancers of Divas choreographed by Nick Foote ( Quad ), and featuring the Lon Bronson 11 piece band.

Frank Marino has spent the better part of 25 years as the longest running headliner in the hit show "An Evening at La Cage."  He currently produces and stars in "Frank Marino's Divas Las Vegas" at the Quad Resort & Casino on The Strip.  In 2005, Mayor Oscar Goodman proclaimed February 1st to be Frank Marino Day in Las Vegas.  The eccentric performer has a street named after him and was honored with a star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars.

The Showbiz Roast takes place in the main showroom of the Stratosphere Hotel at 11pm on October 4th.  A pre-show being billed as "The Show Before The Show" will begin at 9:30pm with six acts performing on an intimate stage in the lobby and will be hosted by a Liberace tribute performer.  Tickets are by VIP invitation only.
