After more than four years on the Strip, the final performance of PEEPSHOW at Planet Hollywood is scheduled for September 1. At final curtain, the show will have performed more than 1,500 shows.
“We are extremely grateful to all of those who have had a hand in making PEEPSHOW a huge success at Planet Hollywood,” said Scott Zeiger of BASE Entertainment. “PEEPSHOW broke new ground in the world of the Las Vegas topless show; the first to be a full-throttle production show, it reinvented the iconic Las Vegas showgirl in a way that both celebrated and empowered women.”
Created and directed by Tony Award®-winner Jerry Mitchell, PEEPSHOW debuted at Planet Hollywood in March 2009. During its run PEEPSHOW welcomed to the stage a lineup of well-known stars including pop sensations Mel B. and Aubrey O’Day, soap starlet Kelly Monaco and Broadway actress Shoshana Bean. Holly Madison held the leading role of “Bo Peep” for more than three years before turning the role over to reality star Coco Austin late last year.
“It has been an amazing journey for the whole PEEPSHOW team,” said Mitchell. “I couldn’t be more proud of the remarkable cast and crew for all of their hard work, passion and support in making what was once a dream an incredible reality.”
Future plans for programming in the Showroom at Planet Hollywood will be announced shortly.
