The Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower announce the debut of PIN UP™, an original show inspired by the famous pin up girl calendars starring PLAYBOY’s 2011 Playmate of the Year® and Bettie Page Clothing model, Claire Sinclair, in the Stratosphere Theater on February 25.
“This show brings the classic pin up girl calendar to life month by month through incredible live music, dance and variety,” says 21-year old Sinclair. “The cast and crew at Stratosphere are amazingly creative and talented. PIN UP is classy, sexy and most importantly, fun.”
Featuring a cast of dancers, singers and a live six-piece band with a horn section, PIN UP is will transport audiences to a modern version of the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s vintage eras.
Sinclair won worldwide fame on the pages of the iconic PLAYBOY® magazine, first as Miss October in 2010 and later as PLAYBOY’s 2011 Playmate of the Year®. She has been featured on E!’s hit reality television shows The Bunny House and Holly’s World, and was a special guest performer for Crazy Horse Paris in 2010 and 2011. Sinclair also starred in a commercial for Bettie Page Clothing as well as making numerous appearances across the country on the clothing company’s behalf.
Critically acclaimed Stratosphere headliner Frankie Moreno is co-producer of the new show, created the concept and scored a high-energy collection of swingin’ music for PIN UP, which includes his contemporary twist on nostalgic covers plus several new originals.
Lacey Schwimmer of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars fame choreographed the dance sequences. The show will feature four female dancers and one talented male dancer.
“First with Frankie Moreno and now with PIN UP, Stratosphere is establishing itself as the home for exciting, original and live Vegas-style entertainment on the Strip,” said Matt Mascali, Vice President of Entertainment at Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower.
