In a rare opportunity that gives guests access to even more of the often hidden details regarding America’s underworld, the Mob Museum has invited some of the foremost experts in organized crime and law enforcement to speak on September 19th, October 17th, and November 13th.
Former undercover FBI agent Jack Garcia, current global organized crime tracker Dr. Mark Galeotti and legendary crime-fighting attorney G. Robert Blakey will give unique insight into their careers and the accomplishments that came about from fighting the Mob directly or gathering useful intelligence on its existence.
“The intrigue, insight and inference these speakers will provide is sure to make for an unforgettable series. Guests will have greater clarity and understanding into a part of American history that, in some cases, was kept hidden and hushed,” said Jonathan Ullman, executive director of The Mob Museum.
About the speakers:
With more than 100 undercover assignments throughout his 26 year FBI career, Joaquin “Jack” Garcia will reveal the tactics used to take down corrupt politicians, drug dealers and organized criminals when at the Museum on September 19th.
Tracking organized crime at the global level, Dr. Mark Galeotti will be at the Museum on October 17th to update guests on the various hot spots world-wide and zero in on his encounters with a new generation of gangsters in Russia.
G. Robert Blakey – speaking on November 13th – will lend up his legal knowledge that will give guests a more detailed breakdown of his blueprint for the Racketeer Influenced & Corrupt Organizations or RICO Act. Signed into law as part of the 1970 Federal Crime Control Act, this powerful weapon in the fight against the Mob will provide the platform from which Blakey will chronicle the rise and fall of organized crime in America from 1960 to present day.
Tickets for all three speakers who make up The Mob Museum’s highly anticipated fall speaker series are now available for public purchase.
