Award-Winning Legends in Concert Harrahs Las Vegas Celebrates 28 Years on the Strip
Legends in Concert, the longest-running celebrity tribute show in the world, will celebrate 28 years on the Las Vegas Strip on May 5.
"It has been our privilege and pleasure for the past 28 years to showcase such enormously talented tribute artists and to give the public a venue in which they could enjoy their favorite musical superstars," said Brian Brigner, chief operating officer for On Stage Entertainment, Inc. which produces the show. "It's been a long road to get to this moment, but it's been a great ride and we could not have accomplished it without our loyal fans."
Legends in Concert features live re-creations of superstars of yesterday and today, backed by a live band and the Legends singers and dancers. The show features such gone-but-not-forgotten greats as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Liberace, Marilyn Monroe, Sammy Davis Jr. and many others. In late 1989, the show began paying tribute to living superstars of the day with re-creations of Rod Stewart, Elton John, Steven Tyler, Stevie Wonder, Whoopi Goldberg, Cher, Madonna, and Britney Spears among others.
Legends in Concert is produced by On Stage Entertainment, Inc. in Las Vegas, and includes versions of the show several tourist markets including Branson, MO; Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT; and Myrtle Beach, SC.
The show, which performs twice nightly, six nights per week in the Harrah’s Showroom at Harrah’s Las Vegas, will commemorate its anniversary by offering a special locals discount. Throughout the month of May, all Nevada residents are able to purchase a general admission ticket, regularly priced at $55.45, for only $28 (plus taxes and fees).
