Magician Lance Burton is keeping busy this summer with several television appearances internationally and his annual beenfit show for The Shriners.
* “Lance Burton & Friends” will host a benefit for the Zelzah Shrine Temple (The Shriners) at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 22. Tickets are $35, $30 and $25 for the event and can be purchased at the Zelzah Shrine Temple at Mesquite & Rancho or call 382-5554.
* The popular South American television show “Rest of the World” will feature Lance Burton and his “Master Magician” show at the Monte Carlo. The TV show originates from Venezuela and is viewed by six million viewers.
* The Australian Broadcasting Corporation will feature Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo in an upcoming series. Lance will critique a magician’s sleight of hand and do an interview with the TV production company.
* The popular Discovery Channel game show “Cash Cab” will feature Lance Burton and sidekick comic-juggler Michael Goudeau. Their winnings will be divided between the Zelzah Shrine Temple and the Variety Club – a Children’s Charity. The episode will show this coming Fall.
