Elvis tribute "The King Lives! starring Pete Wilcox" debuts @HootersCasinoLV on 4/2. Show creates what ELVIS would be doing on stage today.

The King Lives! starring Pete Wilcox will debut in the Night Owl Showroom at Hooters Casino Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday, April 2, 2010.  Wilcox has been doing tribute concerts of Elvis for over forty years and was featured on television in Cheers, LA Law, ALF, Murphy Brown, Designing Women and numerous other series.

“I’m going to take the stage just as Elvis would, if he were alive today,” stated Willcox. He added, “In honor of the King, I’ll perform some of his treasured classics, but will cover other songs that may have been recorded by Elvis later in his career. We’re certainly going to have fun.”

The producer of the show, Gregg Austin, came up with the idea. “The first step in creating this show was getting Pete to perform” stated Austin. “Pete is the best there is. Combining Pete with my band, well, it will be a magical performance”.

Gary Gregg, Head Hooter and COO, commented “We are looking forward adding Pete and his great talent to our entertainment line-up. We will now have two great tribute shows in our showroom, The King and The Prince. Purple Reign plays at 10:00 p.m. and The King Lives! plays at 7:30 p.m. The stars of both are incredibly talented.”
